The waterfalls
The particularly impressive location at the entrance to the valley, the vast volumes of water and an extraordinary waterfall height of 380m over three stages make the Krimml Waterfalls an impressive natural spectacle.
They are also the world’s fifth highest waterfalls.
The Waterfall Trail
A 4 km trail built by the Austrian Alpine Association (OeAV) with its numerous vantage points and platforms makes it possible to get quite close to the natural spectacle of the Krimml Waterfalls. The lowest waterfall can be reached on foot from the parking area in just 10-15 minutes.
