The Krimmler Ache – The Source of the Waterfalls

| The Krimml Waterfalls are fed by the Krimmler Ache, a river that has its source at the end of the Krimml Achental valley. At first it runs gently through flat Alpine pastures to reach the end of the valley after 20 km and to fall down the giant stages of the Krimml Waterfalls as a roaring glacial stream. |
