What is the walking distance from the parking lot to the waterfalls? |

| The vantage point Kürsingerplatz at the lowest waterfall can be reached in 10-15 minutes’ walk. |

Where does the water come from? |

| The source of the Krimmler Ache is the glacier in the Krimml Achental valley, the so-called “Krimmler Kees”. |

Where does the water go to? |
||
| The Krimmler Ache empties into the Salzach at the railway station in Krimml. |

Why do we have to pay for visiting the Krimml Waterfalls? |

The levied fee is earmarked for the Krimml Waterfalls: for repair and maintenance of the Waterfall Trail proper, for the public sanitary facilities including wheelchair accessible toilet, for nature con- servation, measures for environmental protection, environmental education, for the information point and the information centre. |
